Tuition Fees

Academic Year 2025–26

The information below outlines the steps from application to enrolment, along with tuition and annual fees for the academic year ahead. These contributions enable ISJ to provide exceptional teaching, individualised care, and a broad range of opportunities for every pupil.

1. Application

An Application Fee of IDR 4,680,000 is payable upon submission of the Application Form. Payment may be made by bank transfer or directly at the school (credit card, debit card, or QRIS). Please note that this fee is non-refundable and non-transferable.


2. Enrolment

The Enrolment Deposit confirms a pupil’s place at the school.

When a place is offered and accepted, an Enrolment Deposit of IDR 16,328,000 is payable.
Provided that one full term’s written notice has been given to the Academic Director and all financial obligations have been met, the Enrolment Deposit will be refunded when a pupil leaves ISJ. Please see the Terms and Conditions for full details.


3. Tuition and Annual Fees

3.1 Capital Contribution

IDR 54,360,800 per year
This contribution supports the ongoing enhancement of the school campus, ensuring pupils learn and play in safe, well-equipped, and inspiring surroundings. The Capital Contribution is payable annually in full and is non-refundable.

3.2 Materials Fee

IDR 15,683,200 per year
This fee covers classroom resources such as books, stationery, art supplies, and science materials. It is payable annually in full and is non-refundable.

4. Bursaries and Financial Support

ISJ is proud to be part of The Schools Trust, which provides limited bursary funds each year to support pupils who would otherwise be unable to access an ISJ education. Applications are reviewed on a case-by-case basis.

5. Additional Notes, Terms & Conditions

One term’s notice – first day of the prior term

5.1 What’s not included

Certain optional items — such as personal devices, uniform, meals, transport, clubs, wraparound care, individual music lessons, and educational trips — are charged separately.

5.2 Sibling Discount

To support families with more than two children at ISJ, a tuition fee reduction applies as follows:

  • 5% for a third child
  • 10% for a fourth child
  • 15% for a fifth and subsequent children

5.3 Payment Structure (Annual / Termly)

Tuition fees are normally payable annually. Termly payments may be arranged by prior agreement. In exceptional cases, alternative payment schedules may be considered following discussion with the Academic Director and approval by the Board or bursary committee.

5.4 Fee Reviews

Fees are reviewed annually to ensure the school continues to invest in high-quality teachers, facilities, and programmes. ISJ reserves the right to make adjustments if circumstances require, with as much notice as possible.

5.5 Late Payment

All fees must be paid by the due date on the invoice. Late payments incur a charge of 2% per month on the outstanding balance. The school reserves the right to withhold reports, references, or access to classes and activities where fees remain unpaid.

5.6 Mid-Year Enrolments

Pupils joining part-way through a term will be charged pro rata for tuition, capital, and materials fees.

5.7 Other Charges

Additional charges may apply for external examinations, optional programmes, or special activities. These will always be communicated in advance.

5.8 Major Disruption

In the event of unavoidable closure or disruption (including remote learning), fees remain payable in full.

5.9 Refunds

(a) Tuition and related charges — Tuition and optional charges already paid in advance will be refunded for any full term not attended, provided notice¹ has been given.
(b) Non-refundable fees — The Application Fee, Capital Contribution, and Materials Fee are non-refundable.
(c) Enrolment Deposit — Refunded in full when a pupil leaves ISJ, subject to one full term’s written notice¹ and settlement of all financial obligations.
(d) Enrolment Deposit (cancellation) — In the event of cancellation before starting, the Enrolment Deposit is non-refundable. Enrolment may only be postponed once, with prior approval, after which the deposit is forfeited.

5.10 Definition of “One Full Term’s Notice”

A “full term’s notice” means that written notice of withdrawal must be received by the school on the first day of the preceding term.

Example: If a pupil is to leave at the end of Term 3, notice must be given by the first school day of Term 2.
