Terms & Conditions
These Terms & Conditions set out the basis of the agreement between ISJ and each family enrolled at the school. They should be read alongside the Privacy Notice, Behaviour Expectations, and Fee Schedule.
1. Application of Terms
These Terms & Conditions apply once a place has been formally accepted via the signed Offer & Acceptance Letter and relevant fees have been paid.
2. Fees and Payment
All fees — including tuition, enrolment, capital contribution, and materials — must be paid in full and on time as invoiced. The most up-to-date Fee Schedule is published on the ISJ website.
Late payment charges of 2% per month will be applied to overdue accounts after a 14-day grace period from the due date. ISJ reserves the right to withhold access to reports, references, or other services where fees remain unpaid. In cases of extended non-payment beyond 60 days, the school may withdraw a pupil's place.
If you require additional time to make payment or are experiencing financial hardship, please contact admissions@isj.id as early as possible to discuss payment arrangements.
3. Notice of Withdrawal
A full term's written notice must be provided if you intend to withdraw your child from ISJ. If this notice is not received, one full term's tuition fees will be payable in lieu. Notice must be submitted in writing to admissions@isj.id. It will be considered received only when acknowledged by the school.
4. Attendance, Conduct, and Expectations
All pupils are expected to attend regularly and follow ISJ's Behaviour Expectations. These are shared with families as part of the enrolment process and form part of this agreement. ISJ aims to create a safe, inclusive, and respectful environment. If a pupil's conduct or needs fall significantly outside the school's ability to support — despite reasonable efforts and partnership with parents — the school may review the suitability of the placement.
5. Learning Needs and Disclosures
Families must inform the school of any medical, psychological, or learning-related needs that may affect a pupil's education or wellbeing. This applies both during the application process and throughout the child's time at ISJ.
ISJ is committed to making reasonable adjustments to support all learners. Where specialist support services or significant additional resources are required beyond standard provision, ISJ may charge separately for these services or recommend external assessment. The school will work collaboratively with families to explore all available options before determining that a child's needs cannot be met within the existing provision.
6. Privacy and Data Use
ISJ collects and uses personal data in accordance with its Privacy Notice, which is shared as part of the enrolment materials and available upon request. The Privacy Notice outlines what data is collected, how it is used, and your rights in relation to it.
7. School Operations and Policy Updates
ISJ may make updates to school policies, staffing, facilities, or procedures from time to time. Updated policies will be published on the school website footer. Families are expected to comply with current school policies as published, including those relating to behaviour, attendance, health and safety, technology use, and safeguarding.
8. Force Majeure and Emergency Procedures
In the event of circumstances beyond the school's control (including but not limited to natural disasters, government mandates, health emergencies, or infrastructure failures), ISJ may need to modify operations, implement remote learning, or temporarily close facilities. The school will communicate changes through established emergency communication channels and will make reasonable efforts to continue educational provision where possible.
9. Photography and Communication
Pupils may be photographed or filmed from time to time during school life. Images may be used for newsletters, internal displays, learning documentation, and school marketing. Student work and projects may be displayed or shared as part of educational activities. If you would like to request limitations on photography or sharing of student work, please contact the school.
Families will receive updates about their child's learning and school life via email or other digital platforms. It is the parent's responsibility to keep their contact details up to date.
10. Complaint Resolution
ISJ is committed to addressing concerns promptly and fairly. Parents should first raise issues directly with the relevant teacher or staff member. If the matter is not resolved satisfactorily, it may be escalated to the Academic Director. Formal complaints should be submitted in writing to admissions@isj.id and will be acknowledged within 3 working days.
11. Communication with the School
For matters relating to enrolment, billing, withdrawal, formal complaints, or other administrative concerns, please contact admissions@isj.id. For day-to-day academic or classroom-related issues, please contact your child's teacher or the appropriate member of staff.
